Sažetak
Traffic flow data collection technologies are essential for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) applications. There are many scientific papers which deal with the usage of Bluetooth detectors as point-to-point detectors that can provide very desirable traffic data such as travel time and construction of Origin-Destination (O-D) matrices. However, not many papers deal with the traffic data which can be calculated using a Bluetooth detector as a point detector. Such data can provide additional information about the state of the traffic flow. In this paper, we tried to show that there is a relationship between the traffic data measured using a Bluetooth detector and a radar. A correlation analysis was applied on the measured traffic data and results show that there is a strong relationship between the traffic data in the observed interval. Hence, it can be concluded that Bluetooth detector can also be considered as a point detector providing additional traffic information about the state of the traffic flow. This can be useful in detector optimization process or to enrich existing traffic information about the state of the traffic flow.
