Sažetak
New trends in the tourism offer are constantly emerging on the European tourist market. Tourists that have become tired of what the tourism offer currently has to offer are continuously searching for new challenges and travel motivations. With each new arival at a destination, they require novel experiences. This, in particular, pertains to sport tourism as one of the most propulsive forms of the selective offer. In addition to the conventional sport and recreational events that can provide an active vacantion for the modern tourist, there is a freat demand for new sports such as body jumping, paragliding, and rafting, which border with adventure tourism. As the target market group consists of younger and more discerning tourists, it is essential to improve the quality of both the other elements of the offer, and the changes to the tourism policy.
