Sažetak
The Chapter on Civil Procedure presents core elements of contentious civil proceedings in Croatia, but it also provides basic information on arbitration and conciliation as well as non-contentious civil proceedings in Croatia, including enforcement proceedings and recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments. The contentious civil proceedings is elaborated through following topics: fundamental principles, jurisdiction and composition of courts in civil matters, parties to civil proceedings and their representatives, participation of the third persons, legal costs and legal aid, proceedings before first instance court (actions and claims, preparations of the main hearing and the main hearing, evidence, court settlement, court decisions), proceedings upon legal remedies (ordinary and extraordinary) and particular proceedings.
