Sažetak
The Chapter on simplification of debt collection in Croatia presents the main features of the Croatian national summary procedures for recovery of monetary claims: order for payment procedure and procedure in small claims disputes. It also explains the Croatian rules on implementation of the European order for payment procedure as well as Croatian rules on implementation of the European small claims procedure, that should speed up the procedure in cross border cases concerning pecuniary claims and alleviate the cross-border enforcement of orders for payment and judgments in small claims disputes in the Member States of the European Union. The text gives the basis for comparison of Croatian rules on these specific procedures for recovery of monetary claims with rules on these kinds of procedures in other Member States in the European Union.
