Sažetak
Model reference adaptive control scheme with a signal adaptation applied to electromechanical systems with significant parameter variations is considered. A synthesis technique of model reference sliding mode controller with signal adaptation is described. Experimental results are obtained in a thyristor-fed DC motor drive with cascade control system. The application of the model reference sliding mode adaptive controller provides a very good adaptation of armature current response to the change of thyristor converter's mode of operation and to the parameter variations in the armature current control loop.
