Sažetak
This trialogue focuses on four performances presented in Zagreb during 2017/2018 season: Jelčić’s Govori glasnije (Speak louder), Buljan’s Ciganin al najljepši (The gypsy, but the most beautiful), Djordjev’s Ljudski glas (Human voice) and Klepica’s Bijeli bubrezi (Rocky MountainOysters). Our analysis engages with intricacies of representation, artistic “truth” in the context of theatre, articulations and constraints of minoritarian identities and identity politics in general. This trialogue functions as a methodological intervention into a classical format of a scientific article. The work itself produced its own variation of a reviewing process, but more importantly, we have epistemologically opened a space through direct confrontation, and even questioning our own initial premises.
