Sažetak
The microstructure, mechanical properties and resistance to brittle fracture as well as the correlations among them are given in the presented work for the grade KODUR E 700 TS microalloyed steel produced in East Slovakian Iron Works Košice. The chemical composition (Mn, Mo, Nb, Ti and B) in connection with the technology of controlled cooling of the 10 mm sheet produce a fine acicular ferrite or bainite microstructures, a yield strength exceeding 700 MPa a transition temperatures lower than -20°C.
