Sažetak
In this paper the influence of deep cryogenic treatment of high-speed steel substrate on the hardness, friction coefficient and wear rate in the dry sliding conditions of the TiAlN coating was investigated. The obtained results show that the substrate properties have key effect on the properties of the coating - substrate interface, on the mechanical and tribological properties of the coating and consequently its behaviour in dry sliding wear conditions.
