Sažetak
The essential task to be accomplished by the river load measurement is to determine concentration of suspended load, cross-section unit transportation rates for suspended and bed load, grain size curves for suspended and bedload, and load from sandbanks. These data are used to define the river load regime in the observed river section. This means gathering information on daily, monthly and annual transportation of suspended and bed load, its correlation with water levels, discharges, and grain size distribution of the materijal. These and other parameters have been obtained by analysis of long-term measurements saved in HIS2000, a hydrological database developed at the Hydrological and Meteorological Service, Department of Hydrology. Updated data are available to the users all the time, whether for study of changes in river courses or as background data for design documentation development.
