Safety Reasons for the Use of Solar Cells for Power Feed of Traffic Signs with Velocity Radar Control

It is a well known fact that most frequent cause of traffic accidents is disregard of the maximum permitted speed along a particular part of the road. Since existing traffic signs are most frequently not sufficient inducement for a decrease of velocity of the vehicle, vehicle speed should be controlled by radar methods, which is within strict competence of the police. Since police cannot always be present, installation of traffic signs is proposed in this study, which would, in front of the sign of maximum permitted speed, also control instantaneous vehicle speed by means of installed radar.
