CA COST ACTION CA 16227 Project - First Repellency Results on Textiles
This paper presents the new COST Action project CA16227 (2017—2021) focused on mathematical analysis of the effect of avantgarde control measures in vector-borne diseases involving mosquitos transmitting diseases like Dengue virus, Zika virus, Chikungunya virus, Yellow Fever and Malaria. This COST Action textile research group at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology, involved a new natural products in textile finishing based on nano- and micro-particles releasing repellents and reached the successful repellent efficacy results.
