Innovative Ventilated Wall with Linear Extruded Aluminium Hybrid Panels
Idea behind this project PoC6_61 is that the growing need humanity for energy can be met by the efficient transformation of solar energy. It is expected that the new hybrid concept of PV panels with extruded aluminum profiles on the background will contribute to better utilization of solar energy conversion. In addition, the hybrid concept of the PV panel is conceived as an independent module that will enable the end user to easily install modules on the facades of existing buildings and thereby reduce the energy demand from secondary sources. The main goals of project is to increase the efficiency of energy conversion in photovoltaic panels, but with cost-effective production, easy installation to an almost arbitrary panel dimensions and easy maintenance. Through the project, a hybrid concept and an optimized geometry of the aluminum exchanger were designed. New concept is manufactured and installed at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Split, Croatia.
