Istraživanje pojava speleoloških objekata kao pomoć pri geotehničkim izazovima u kršu

Geotechnical and civil engineering works in karst areas often discover new caves with no natural entrance from the surface - caverns. Caverns can be a problem for geotechnicians and civil engineers for reasons such as: morphology, volume, hydrogeological features, lack of stability etc. In order to complete the high quality construction works as fast and as cheap as possible the collaboration between geologist-speleologist and geotechnician is mandatory. Speleological activity and understanding of speleogenesis and geology will provide the geotechnicians with the information essential for finding the adequate solutions. Many examples of successful collaboration between geotechnicians and geologist-speleologists are known.
