Management systems for blended learning
Management systems for blended learning are increasingly adopted over the world, enabling teachers to meet the needs of students as individual, at the same time increasing their engagement and achievements. Blended learning is a formal education program where educational institutions use technology to create optimal situations for teaching in small groups. Recent research shows that smaller student groups can produce students with higher cognitive abilities, and more productive workers later, after they leave school. Another very desirable outcome is the possibility of collecting and adjustment of teaching and assessment, which are the two main advantages of this approach. Educational institutions with blended learning models can also choose to redistribute resources to improve students’ outcomes. This paper describes the main features of smart learning and a smart learning environment, and maintains the relevance of participation of future users in the learning process, in order to increase knowledge on design and application of new pedagogical approaches in smart learning environments.
