Cyber-attacks and Internet of Things as a threat to critical infrastructure
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the interconnectivity with smart assets that are securely networked over an open, standard network. The full value of IoT is complementing smart, networked assets with contemporary technologies such as scalable computing, information management, analytics, and mobility gives us Internet of Things also known as Internet of Objects. The IoT will foster the development of a number of applications that make use of the potentially enormous amount and variety of data generated by such objects to provide new services to citizens, companies, and public administrations. The Internet of Things is a very real trend and it is just a matter of time before IoT has a signicant impact on the way we live our lives.
