Sažetak
This paper concentrates on using Directional Contour Tracing (DCT) descriptor for extracting features from shapes and highlighting them on the original image. Primary task of this method is to find edges and corners of different shapes and note them down in appropriate way. It also utilizes shape contour description with absolute angular tracing characteristics of shapes. Results are shown, and the method can be used for detecting and comparing different shapes based on extracted features.
