Sažetak
To understand the behavior of fiber-reinforced heterogeneous composites, especially in the post-cracking phase, it is necessary to model the different processes happening at the interface between the matrix material and the fibers. In this work, we are dealing with concrete that is reinforced with short steel fibers. We combine the embedded discontinuity (ED-FEM) approach for modeling damage in concrete, with the X-FEM approach for taking into account the fiber inclusions.
