Sažetak
The paper gives an overview on IGBT paralleling strategies with state of the art review regarding to the issue and proposes new idea for load balancing in electric vehicle drives. The main influential parameters for load imbalance are introduced at first. Common passive and active balancing strategies are explained. For active gate control, two main wiring topologies are presented. The experimental verification results for static and dynamic current balancing are shown. An IGBT balancing strategies recommendations and table comparison are given as a research result. At the end, new idea of load balancing is given.
