The relatioship of the levels of insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I) in aqueus fluid and serum with grades of retinopathy in diabetic patients.
The aim was to determine the IGF-I in serum and aqueous fluid of the patients with diabetes mellitus and the control group, and to determine the correlation of these parameters with the degree of diabetic retinopathy (DR).Aqueous humor was sampled during cataract surgery. The results showed that IGF-I was local parameters in DR development.
