Pjesme Ane Katarine Zrinski - poetika i kontekst
In the mid-1980s there was discovered a manuscript collection of poems that is supposed to have been owned by Ana Katarina Zrinski (c. 1625–1673) and to contain poems written by herself. The collection was recently published (Pjesmarica Ane Katarine Zrinske, prir. J. Bratulić, Zagreb: Matica hrvatska, 2014), which enables its versatile research that was started by Ivan Zvonar (2006) even before publishing the collection. Our analysis relies on his research. The article brings a short description of the contents and structure of the collection, then it determines which poems could be written by Ana Katarina Zrinski, based on content analysis, i.e. on recognizing the motifs that correspond to the destiny of a supposed author, and finally, it highlights metrical, stylistic and motif similarities of the supposed Katarina’s poems with the poetry work of her husband Petar Zrinski and brother Fran Krsto Frankopan. We come to the conclusion that 31 poems of the collection can be attributed to Katarina and additionally support (by new evidences) Ivan Zvonar's assumption of the influence of her poetry on the poetic creativity of her younger brother.
