Interacive postcard of Zadar
In this paper the new approach to the promotion of a tourist place is presented. The role of visual communication, illustration, animation and storytelling in marketing was described more closely, as well as the role of using emotional approach in design process. Different principles and processes have been explored behind animation and illustration, with a special emphasis on the 12 principles of animation. The process of website development has been explained and the role of user experience. At the end, a survey was conducted about the impact of emotional design in user experience and the connection between the user and the destination that is being promoted.
