Investigation of Solubility of Fly Ash Pellets by means of Electrical Conductivity for Damping Purposes
The solubility in water of fly ash in the forms of powder and pellets has been investigated parallely by means of electrical conductivity . Determination of electrical conductivity is ralatively s simple yet efficient method for determination of solubility for changes in solution conductivity due to the concentration dissolved matter can easely be investigated. Iti s determined that pelletization of fly ash significantly decreases its solubility. Thus pelletizing adds environment protection by leaching of deponies. Determination of electrical conductivity has provided to be a rather practical method for the control of solubility.
