Relation of Spirituality, Religion and the Process of Alcohol Treatment in Republic of Croatia
The main goal of the paper is to analyze the role of religion and spirituality in the process of alcoholism treatment. The research argues that there is a distinction between the spirituality and religion in the sense of the efficiency of each for the process of alcoholism treatment. Following the work of Vladimir Hudolin, paper discusses the phenomena of "anthropological spirituality" as a tool for the rehabilitation of non religious (and religious) addicts. The research results indicate that addicts that are not religious still appreciate the forms of spirituality in the process of their alcoholism treatment. The difference between religious and non religious addicts is the form of spirituality. The function of rehabilitation remains, but form of achieving it depends on the religious aspect of spirituality, or anthropological aspect of spirituality.
