Sažetak
In this paper, we will analyze how the Austro-Hungarian legacy has been negotiated in online representational practices that shape tourist discourse(s) of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. As cultural heritage plays an important role in tourism, in this particular paper we aim to analyze how Austro-Hungarian cultural heritage is represented on the Zagreb Tourist Board website. Special attention will be given to answering the question of which cultural heritage, i.e. which elements have been chosen for representation (and which not!), and to what can we infer from the answers to this question concerning the dominant ideological discourse governing the process of representation.
