Analgesic effect of high intensity laser therapy in knee osteoarthritis
Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is associated with pain and inflammation of the joint capsule, impared muscular stabilisation, reduced range of motion and loss of function. High intensity laser therapy (HILT) involves high-intensity laser radiation and causes minor and slow light absorption by chromophores. HILT enables prompt analgesic effects in KOA treatment.
