MATHEMATICAL MODELIN IN HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY

Motivated by the recent advances in mathematical modeling and techniques, we present a modern approach to the problems in blood flow simulation and cardiovascular modeling. Development of the high performance computing (HPC), effective new algorithms and solvers combined with funding that comes from the health industry result in a huge step forward for the numerical computation and visualization of the processes in human physiology.
