Pluralist mobilisation as a catalyst for the dismemberment of Yugoslavia
The article presents a detailed analysis of the multiparty free elections in the republics of former Yugoslavia in 1990. The results of these elections are linked to the elections for the Constitutional Assembly in 1920, highlighting certain similarities. It points to the ethnic complexity of Yugoslavia, especially on the territory of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and also on the possible two principles of sovereignty - territorial and national that could lead to regional separatisms.
