Influence of the different tillage system on cultivars of winter wheat in eastern Croatia
On the brown soil in eastern Croatia different influence of tillage system was researched (A1 - conventional tillage, ploughing 25-30 cm, A2 - subsoilin to 35-40 cm, A3 - discharowing to 10-15 cm, A4 - no tillage) and a reaction of different cultivars of winter wheat on yeald and the quality of winter wheat (B1 - Soissons, B2 - Fieasta, B3 - Gabi) with a method of split-plot in a quadrennial field experiment (from 2003 to 2006). Wheat yeald was under the stronge influence of climate conditions but it was very high in average. Concerning the different tillage systems there were no significant differences in yield although there was a lower yeald of the variant with no tillage - 5.80 t/ha (A4) while the yeald of the other variants was moving from 5.90 to 6.06 t/ha. These differnces werent significant. The Soissons cultivar achived the highest yeald (6.15 t/ha) and Fiesta achived the lowes (5.74 t/ha). The tillage system didint affect the differences in quality of 1000 seed not the hectoliter mass. Howeever, we can notice that cultivar Soissons had the lowest mass of 1000 seed and Fiesta had the highest.
