Gender and age-related preferences towards perks and benefits
Perks represent tools which determine company's status and success and make more desirable place for workers to work in here, while benefits are non-salary compensation which employeer fully or partly pays to his employees. The second part of the paper deals with perks and benefits in the context of managing diverse workforce. This chapter is based on motivation strategies of managing workforce in the form of benefits, as well as on material reward strategies such as material compensation and stimulation, taking into account individual differences, attutudes and needs. The third part of the paper is dedicated to empirical research in one wine company to determine wheather gender and age are related to employee preferences in perks and benefits of their company. A survey questionnaire was sent to 150 respondents of different age groups and occupations i.e. all employees in wine company The survey questionnaire was submitted to respondents via e-mail on August 1, 2017. The respondents had to answer questions about perks and benefits in their company, and the improvement of it. After 120 respondents completed the questionnaire, the survey was completed. The last part of the paper gives a brief overview of the overall work and conclusion of all the above mentioned in the previous chapters, the aims and provisions of the perks and benefits in the organizations and well as the importance of perks and benefits and their improvement in wine industry.
