The book Business Communication in Tourism is designed to introduce students to the communication process and the competencies required to communicate in tourism an effective way. The most important forms of speaking and writing communication in tourism are presented in the book. They include professional situations essential for many jobs in tourism: establishing a business contact, business meeting, socializing with business partners, inquiry, offer, booking, contract, settlement of accounts, complaints etc. Typical communication patterns are introduced through practical examples which build a part of the standard business communication in tourism.
