Realization and traceability of AC power standard at frequency of 50 Hz

An AC power standard for traceable calibration of reference power and energy meters has been established in Primary electromagnetic laboratory PEL, the national calibration laboratory for electrical quantities in Croatia. The standard uses synchronous sampling technique for signal generation and measurement, driven by single digital voltmeter. Traceability of power to national standards has been achieved through validation of sampling-based AC voltage measurement with AC-DC voltage transfer method. The realized AC power standard is covered with expanded standard uncertainty of 25 ppm at frequency of 50 Hz.
