Pregnancy and multiple sclerosis
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is chronic neurological disease which occurs often in young women in generative age. Some influences that pregnancy has on MS are: a) occurrence of relapses decreases in pregnancy and increases in first trimester after delivery; b) although pregnancy and delivery change occurrence of relapses, they don’t have long term effect on evolution of disease; c) breast- feeding and epidural analgesia don’t have adverse effect on the disease; d) MS doesn’t have influence on pregnancy, delivery and child health.
