Overlay Welding in Production of Corrosion- Resistant Waste Incineration Boilers

The paper explores the requirements related to the quality of corrosion-resistant overlay welds deposited on membrane walls or individual pipes in boiler plants. It also presents the main parameters that influence the quality of the cladding layer. Nickel alloys Ni 625 or Ni 686 are mainly used for production of waste-to- energy incineration boilers. The research was performed in cooperation with the ĐĐTEP factory, which is a renowned manufacturer of various types of boilers made of alloy Ni 625. This alloy is frequently used for overlay welding application.
