Tourism and its adaptation to globalisation and economic changes in the world
Development of globalisation processes in the world created new organisational, economic and many other processes within communities. Although various positive and negative social effects occur during the development of contemporary globalisation processes, globalisation is considered to be an important part of the new world’s social and economic order, but also a way to adapt and promote new social actions within also newly founded economic systems. It has been turning into a new concept within social sciences, because it encourages opening of a new era of active development of the world community. The beginnings of the occurrence and effects of globalisation as a new economic system are not historically specified, but some of its initial active forms can be detected in a variety of geopolitical processes. In scientific studies, this matter is a relatively new, unexplored concept, and globalisation effects in tourism appeared even later. In a specific period of time, there was a need in Europe to integrate tourism within the European flows, and there are efforts to harmonise tourism with active economic system of Europe.
