Development of Croatian Building Regulations

The paper describes state of development and application of regulation in the Republic of Croatia in the period from 1990 to 2001. Transition of State political and economical system caused rapid development of general and specific regulation of different fields. Effectiveness of preparation of investment building, mostly depends of state of development and interactive harmonization of numerous laws and supporting rules of related regulative fields like: construction, urbanism, environmental protection, quality assurance, etc. Basic part of this paper is about describing momentary existing procedure about obtaining main regulative documents for beginning of building like is getting urbanity and building permit
