Orisi fenomenologije religije
If we were to look at philosophy and theology as, in a way, modes of interpreting world and life, their mutual relationship could be understood as two ways of delivering the image of the world. And, as much as it may seem otherwise from a contemporary point of view, as much as both philosophy and theology might resist it, according to Heidegger, it is impossible to understand either of them properly without the other. Current disputes and their occasional collusion point definitively not only to their shared history but also to the impotence evident in the attempts to finally and definitively dissociate them. However, this „need” for dissociation must not be understood exclusively in the sense of their fight for status within the context of humanistic disciplines. The afore mentioned heritage which provides the source for both philosophy and theology can certainly guide us toward that (shared) area that, despite long existing signposts, has not even been recognized, much less explored, to a sufficient degree as yet. Therefore this paper aims at questioning the fruitfulness that can be glimpsed in this sort of a phenomenological encounter out of which both philosophy and theology, as well as within its own perspective religion, can gain something that they can count on in a significant way.
