Rethinking Labour law in the Context of 4th Industrial Revolution
The author has been rethinking the role of labour law in the context of fourth industrial revolution. It has been done in four steps. Firstly, through short historical overview of what did earlier technological revolutions bring to workers so far? Then by asking, „What actually urged changes in work arrangements” form standard to non-standard. Thirdly, by trying to answer why are we bothered by these changes and what are the consequences for the employees? And finally by trying to figure out how should/ could we proceed in the future if we want to reach the goals from the European Pillar of Social Rights, i.e. „secure and adaptable employment” (Principle 5 EPSR) and „social protection regardless of the labour market status and type of employment” (Principle 12 EPSR).
