BSC and Challenges of the Integrated Quality Management Systems in Higher Education Institutions
This paper aims to present the results of the research of various quality management systems (QMS) and standards in higher education institutions (HEI), to analyse best worldwide practice cases and challenges of Croatian universities, as well as to offer appropriate model of BSC for HEI. The research started with the following hypothesis: 1. by implementing the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) HEI could improve their QMS ; 2.BSC enables HEI for systematic monitoring of realisation of their strategic and operational goals. The paper offers the model of implementation of BSC in the integrated QMS at the Faculty of Economics and Tourism “Dr. Mijo Mirković”, as a constituent of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula.
