Insights into behaviour and preferences of young parents as buyers of organic products for babies
Consumer interest in organic food has grown tremendously in many countries during last fifteen years, including Croatia. The reason for this growth is, among others, the increasing concern for health and the environment for future generations. There is an increasing change in the food consumption, especially among young parents. Partly, this can be explained by the changing liferoles, as well as the fact that retailers are broadening the offer of organic category as a way of communicating their corporate social responsibility (CSR). Young parents are especially careful when buying products for their babies. An empirical study on the convenient sample of young parents is conducted, with aim of identifying behaviour and preferences of young parents as organic food products buyers.
