The environment in which MNCs operate in the today's world has been changed drastically for it has not been dominated by human interactions any more, but rather by the non-human entities such as nature, technology or political trends. Actor network theory represents an important milestone in the research of operating environment as it offers the tools for the research of the non- human entities that enables an identification and measurement of their influence.
