Basic Data Set and Local Classifications
The paper is concerned with the use of a basic data set at the level of an integrated hospital information system covering several hospitals. The minimum basic data set of a single hospital is described in detail. The entities and attributes of a hospital information system as well as disease and drug classification systems are presented.
