Correlation of state of consiousness and serum levels of alcohoil in alcohol addicts and non- adicts

The acutely intoxicated subjects were patients admittes for detoxification in the Intensive Care Unit of the Dpt for alcoholism of Clinic for Psychiatry, Clinical Hospital Sisters of mercy, during the first six months of the year 2004. The healthy controls group consisted of a group of healthy volunteers. The results are analysed considering the differences of state of consciousness between alcohol addicts and non.addicts.
