Rectifier for Energy Harvesting Application

Most of the todays rectifiers used in energy harvesting systems are designed to work in narrow frequency bands. This papers aims to design and analyse a rectifier for wideband wearable energy harvesting application. The proposed rectifier circuit converts ambient radio-frequency (RF) emissions into useful DC power. Attached to a wideband antenna it collects RF energy over large frequency band. The numerical analysis for determining resistor load to obtain highest output power is performed. The prototype has been manufactured and the efficiency of overall system is measured.
