Influence of the multilingual approach on multiple and multilingual language learners' identity in L3 classroom
The study has two objectives: to present a multidimensional model of multiple and multilingual language learners’ identity and to examine a possible influence of the multilingual teaching approach on multilingual learners’ participation in the L3 classroom. The analysis aims to answer the following research questions: How multilingual students position themselves in an L3 classroom, how are they positioned by other members of the classroom and are there any differences in the forms and the frequency of learners’ classroom participation in multilingual teaching approach when compared to monolingual teaching approach?
