Trends in Demand for Team Building and Incentive Trips in Republic of Croatia

Participants of business tourism are growing segment in the international tourism market. Therefore, this type of tourism is considered as one of the most desirable forms of tourism development in destinations all around the world. Business tourism has recently tied up with the concept of MICE industry whose components are team building and incentive trips recognized as managerial tools used in contemporary companies to reward employees. For the purpose of this paper, an online survey was conducted by which offer carriers of team building and incentive trips were tested. The purpose of this paper is to examine how much do managers use team building and incentive trips as a tool for employee motivation, what are the trends in demand and whether is Croatia recognized as a destination of implementation of these kind of trips.
