Dijagnostičke mogućnosti lateks fotometrijskog testa u bolesnika s juvenilnim kroničnim artritisom

In 41 patients with juvenile chronic arthritis we determined the presence of rheumatoid factors by latex photometric test. In 51% of patients it was positive. In seropositive patients with juvenile chronic arthritis the titre was mainly low, probably due to different sensitivity of latex reagent against antibodies of the IgG class but also due to generally lower concentration of these antibodies. By gel-chromatography on a Sephadex-G 200 column immunoglobulins were divided into fractions. Each fraction was separately titrated and it was found that the irnmunochernical activity was present in the IgM fraction too, but most of the activity was found in the IgG fraction.
