Upper gastrointestinal bleeding caused by fistula of the stomach and splenic artery pseudoaneurysm

We describe a patient who was hospitalised for upper gastrointestinal bleeding caused by fistulisation of a pseudoaneurysm of the splenic (lienal) artery to the back wall of the proximal third of the stomach corpus. After prompt radiological confirmation of clinical suspicion of arteriogastric fistula we were able to successfully perform a coil-embolization digital subtraction angiography.
