L’uomo sovietico sbarcò davvero sulla luna? Le trasgressioni di Viktor Pelevin e Aleksej Fedorčenko
Outer space and exploring unknown worlds played an important role for Russian philosophers, scientists, writers and artists of the Soviet era and before, in the late 19th century, when flourished the Cosmism movement, which called for material immor-tality and travel to outer space. The article is an attempt to analyse the connection between contemporary narratives, Viktor Pelevin’s novel Omon Ra (1991-1992) and Aleksei Fedorchenko’s movie Pervye na lune (First on the Moon, 2005) and soviet ideas of the cosmos (outer space, especially moon landing is one of the most important myths in Soviet culture).
