Model of Functional Requirements of the ITS in Ports
The problems regarding identification and definition of models of functional requirements of the ITS in ports directly determine the efficiency of transport services, safety and security of transport and establishing of the national ITS architecture. This work analyses the functional properties of the ITS in ports depending on the external impacts and their intensity, and the alternative way of behaviour and action in accordance with the variability range of functional properties. The complexity of the intelligent transport systems is presented, with special emphasis on establishing and active role of humans as participants enabling implementation of ITS. This paper presents the importance of ITS in ports, according to properties and their active role in transport systems. The system complexity based on the integration of ITS component through fulfilling the functional requirements in ports, allows establishing of the synergy relationship of all transport participants. The study of functional requirements of ITS in ports is emphasised as necessary for establishing transport systems with the aim of providing the efficiency of transport services and the participants with safety and security and is demonstrated through algorithms finally forming the simulation model.
