Distribution of ascorbic acid in juvenile gilthead sea bream (s.aurata) organs at different dietary treatments

Juvenile gilthead sea bream were fed commercial diets with 150, 500, 1000mg vit.C per kg of basal diet. One group was kept in starvation . Sampling time and different diets did not affect the concetration of the total and L-ascorbic acid in the gills and white muscle, or the total ascorbic acid levels in the kidney which does not hold for brain and the liver.
